Feynman Lectures on Physicsに含まれていない講義、比較的易しい題材を集めたもの。この第二版ではファインマンのインタビューなどが追加されている。Lecturesをしていた頃、他の研究や教育はやめてこれだけに集中したのではと聞かれてファインマンはこう答えている。"I did, in fact. I can hardly believe it, but my wife tells me that I was working essentially day and night, sixteen hours a day, all the time."（p.16）。1章の講義において、ファインマンは良い成績がとれない学生、自信を失いかけている若者達に優しく語りかける。カルテクが優秀な学生を選抜するためにいかに努力しているかを説明し、"But...we've found a very serious problem...when they get here something happens: it always turns out that approximately half of them are below average!" （p.37） 序文によれば、"Lectures"が全部LaTeXで書き直されたのだそうだ。
